Forget finding thought of cards in the deck, why not copy them straight from the spectator’s mind and print them instead? From the genius magic creator Roddy McGhie, comes Zerox.

The magician shows a handful of double blank cards and explains that these are no ordinary playing cards – these have built in photocopying technology. Using an ordinary deck the spectator choses one card and memorises another. As the double blank card makes contact with the chosen card we see the photocopying light pass across the back of the blank card: when it’s turned over the face of the chosen card has been printed. The light moves across the card again, and on turning it over, the back of the card is now printed! Placing the newly printed card face down into the spectator’s hand, the light passes over one final time and when the card is turned over, the thought of card is double printed into the face. Impossible! 

This take on Daryl’s “Presto Printo” effect features multiple mind blowing magic moments that create enormous reactions, from the magical light that everyone associates with photocopying to the impossible feat of printing not only the chosen card, but also the thought of card.
